It was a sun shinny beautiful day in Nassau, when Irvin and Margaret Taylor were blessed with their shining star baby boy who was born on the 13th April, 1973. He was so cute and adorable he was given the name Nestor Lowell. He was charming, quiet and calm. Nestor was a lovable child and loved by everyone, he truly was one of a kind.

Nestor obtained his education at Mable Walker Primary School he then journeyed on and completed his education at H O Nash Senior High School.

On Nestor’s journey of life, his first place of employment was at Lyford Cay Club, later on he was employed at Sheraton Grand Hotel, and finally to Atlantis in the Laundry Department as a truck driver where he later met his lobster Rochelle Black. Nestor was so ambitious he later took on other jobs such as a Taxi driver, Grill-man (He won the award as the #1 Grill man in the Atlantis Grill tournament) and Cooking & Catering Services.

Nestor was a happy, proud, father extraordinaire who worked hard to take care of his children, nothing was too good for them. He loved them dearly especially his baby girl “Teah-Teah”, who was his princess.

While working in the Atlantis Laundry, Nestor met his “Lobster”, Rochelle their relationship bloomed and they later got married in 2012.  He was Rochelle’s “Babe” as she affectionately called him. He was a very loving, caring, dependable, and overprotective of his Lobster, Nestor loved to cook, clean and wash. He always expressed his love in a tangible way, that left a lasting impression on his wife. Nothing was too good for his wife as he always spoiledher. He was an exemplary life partner indeed.

Nestor was experiencing health issues from2019 but continued to go about his daily life touching the hearts of all he met. On 29th January, this year, he was admitted to PMH where he spent a week in hospital and was later discharged.

Nestor who was always happy and smiling was not his same jovial self-afterwards, although he tried to masked what he was going through. However; he was surrounded by his family in Big Pond daily, where he was showered with much love and affection. Uncle Nestor made a mark in the life of his niece Christina and her children, especially Zaria who called him her “Pappy” even in the midst of his sickness he always came bearing treats for her whatever she asked for.  Uncle Nestor was “the bomb!”

On Saturday 20th February while at his home with his wife, Nestor became worst and took his heavenly flight to paradise.

Nestor character shown bright, he was loving affectionate and kind-hearted he was the life of the party always and never hesitated to put his hands in his pocket to be a blessing even if it meant giving his last. He made his entranced known wherever he went. He would say, “Big Daddy reach!”

Nestor left an indelible mark in the lives of all hose he came in contact with, He will forever be in our hearts.
