A TIME TO BE BORN……. “Foreverything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.” On the island of New Providence inNassau, proud parents Barbara and WendellMinnis (both deceased), welcomed a bouncing baby boy by the name of AnthonyWendell on June 18th, 1961. Anthony was the fourth child of five siblings andwhile growing up as a young child, he inherited the nicknames “Offie”,”Charmant”and “Minnis” from friends and family.
A TIME TO LEARN, LOVE AND LABOR…….
Anthony received his educationthrough different levels of schooling, finishing at L.W. Young High School. Aftergraduating, he later joined the Royal Bahamas Police Force. He was always ahard worker of many jobs. A few of his jobs included plumbing, construction, doorman/bellmanat the Royal Bahamian and a Public Service Driver (taxi, jitney, and tour bus).As a young adult, Anthony met a gorgeous young lady by the name of Berylin fromthe island of Andros. On November 23rd, 1991, the two were united inholy matrimony by Canon Sebastian S. Campbell C.M., J.P. at All Saints AnglicanChurch. This union produced three beautiful children: Anastacia, Antonio, andAnnalissa.
A TIME TO IMPART…….
Anthony enjoyed many hobbies.He loved watching sports. His favorite teams were the Los Angeles Lakers (Basketball),the Green Bay Packers (Football) and the Los Angeles Dodgers (Baseball). Musicwas also one of his favorite past-times. Anthony could have been found singingand dancing to Old School Reggae, Soca, Junkanoo music, Michael Jackson andsometimes even Whitney Houston. In the past, he was a part of the Junkanoogroup the Fancy Dancers where he happily rushed with his purpleand gold suit. Anthony also loved traveling with his family on vacation. Familytogetherness was extremely important to him. Lastly, Anthony loved spendingtime in the kitchen creating delicious meals for his family. Grilling becameone of his specialties.

After some time Anthony’s health beganto fail. On October 5th, 2023, he quietly slipped away into gloryfrom time to eternity.
